4. Text 1: Once upon a time, there were 2 animals: Sura, which is a shark, and Baya, a crocodile. They both lived in the sea.
One day, they were so hungry that when they found a goat, they fight each other so one of them could eat that goat alone. However, none of them could win the fight, so they decided to live separately. Sura would live in the sea, while Baya at the land.A few days later, Sura went to the land as the food was scarce in the water, but he was caught by Baya, who said that he broke the promise. Baya was so angry that he began to bite Sura's tail and so did Sura. The fight was so intense that Sura finally gave up and went back to the sea.
Text 2: The Legend of the Hanging Stone and Parapat On Lake Toba, there is a large rock sticking out at the edge of the lake. The stone is called the Hanging Stone. There is a legend behind this stone. Legend has it that this stone is the body of a girl named Seruni. Seruni fell on a rock cliff when she was about to commit suicide in Lake Toba because her parents did not approve of her love. When mired in the rock, Seruni shouted 'Parapat, Parapat Batu' so that the stone wall would squeeze him even more. When his parents arrived, Seruni had been crushed by a stone, and in the hole in which Serunim entered, appeared a large body that resembled the body of a girl.
